Old photos and other memorabilia, plants and nature in general: all this provides me with motifs and serves as inspiration.  One work, one idea usually gives rise to many more, which is why I usually work in series. When drawing and painting - preferably with acrylic and gouache, coloured pencils and ballpoint pens - I try to fathom the very essence of my objects.
